Project Challenges
Delivering a 31m-high industrial building involved intensive planning and high-risk coordination, with 90% of construction tasks classified as high-risk. Additional complexities included:
-
Concurrent machinery installation by the client during Shelford’s internal fit-out works—requiring detailed HSE planning to ensure zero incidents
-
Western Power’s late-stage requirement for a new HV Building, which was managed and completed within the original timeframe
Despite these challenges, Shelford Commercial delivered the project 10 weeks ahead of schedule, a testament to our planning, safety, and delivery capabilities in the industrial construction sector in WA
