Project Overview
The project was an Anytime Fitness franchise gym fitout. It comprises 2 offices, a functional training room and the main gym area and is built for use as a 24 hour gym facility. The fitout works included the installation of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic services.

Key Features
Walls are steel stud with plasterboard lining. There is a stone cladding feature wall to the entry lobby logo wall and feature walls in bright colours. Some walls are mirror walls.
Construction Challenges
The client’s design of the arrangement of walls were identified by Shelford as not complying with disabled access codes and were altered to adhere to standards.
Working in with the client’s own trades including security, flooring and equipment contractors made programming the works difficult. We were required to work around their set dates which was difficult considering the tight schedule.
Despite the contract period the client wanted the fitout completed early for a prescheduled opening night. The construction program was challenging but the work was completed in time for a successful opening night.
